THE ROLE:
At Pattison Agriculture we seek talent ready to GROW, CONNECT AND EVOLVE with us! We are looking for a Service Shift Manager to join our fast-paced, energetic, dealership in North Battleford, Preeceville, Yorkton, Leader, Balcarres, SK and Swan River, MB. This role manages, coordinates, and directs the workload of the Service Department with a high focus on quality of work, effective communication, and Customer Satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This individual’s responsibilities include:
- Assign/schedule internal/customer/warranty jobs for service employees based on their skills/knowledge and provide feedback.
- Work with Service Business Manager on new hire orientation, provide mentorship for technicians.
- Optimize shop efficiency
- Ensure effective communication and follow up on repair status and issues.
- Work with manager to identify/execute continuous process improvements, training opportunities and provide back up in their absence and during peak seasons.
- Direct/assist in diagnosis/troubleshooting of machine problems with technicians and apprentices.
- Perform final checks/approvals on equipment before start of work order.
- Provide excellent customer service consistently above standards; maintain customer relations and respond to inquiries/needs.
REQUIREMENTS
This would be an ideal position if you have:
- Ag Equipment Tech (JDTECH) Journeyperson Certification/equivalent
- 5+ years performing complex service repairs/maintenance
- Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of ag/turf equipment
- Ability to operate vehicles/equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
- Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use current business systems, working knowledge of computer functions and use.
